Mountain & Water Explorer (Two days adventure package)

Day 1: The instructors will meet the teachers and students at the school around 7:30 AM thereafter the group will be driven to the Hatta Moutain. On reaching the location we will go to the activity site, following a safety briefing by our lead instructor, you will hike towards the activity area, adjacent to natural rock pools.

This is where you will have the opportunity to participate in some exciting activities such as abseiling, trekking, climbing and swimming in the rock pools. In the afternoon we will proceed to the camp where you can set up your tents for the night, collecting wood for campfire and have a debriefing session about the day. This will be followed by a BBQ dinner after which we shall have marshmallows by the fire and some fun evening activities.

Day 2: The morning begins with a cooked breakfast after which we shall drive across the UAE’s rugged countryside to Khor Kalba.

The location is very unique to the UAE; a significant part of the lagoon is mangrove forest. This will provide an opportunity to observe and learn about the wildlife of the area and its ecosystem. The activities for the delay will include canoeing, kayaking and raft building. All activities will be carried out under the close supervision and guidance of our experienced instructors.

The specific outcomes of this trip for the students would be for them to observe and learn about the natural history and culture of the areas that they visit. Specific skills such map reading, hiking, abseiling, can be taught. The students will be required to work in teams. Lessons in teamwork, leadership, communication and initiative will be learned. Our instructors will facilitate all of this.
